The artist has had a long love affair with the image of the anatomical heart. It was around 2015 when the anatomical heart turned into abstracted golden hearts. A request for the revival of the anatomical heart for an exhibition in Rochester, NY, the artist felt that it called for a sophisticated version of the previous golden heart. Also present is the forgoing of the traditional framing in favor of a magnetic frame that is customized by the artist with gold chain, adding to the presence and characterization of the piece. Some have also said that this piece reminds them of the twins from the Shining, to which the artist agrees.
